Intellectual Property Policy

The frameworks and methods behind our work stay ours; what we build for you is yours, on clear terms.

2 min read Effective  1 August 2026 Last updated  1 August 2026 Intellectual Property & Confidentiality

Purpose

Fanaar's commercial value lies substantially in its proprietary growth frameworks, methodologies, and creative craft. This policy explains how we protect that intellectual property ("IP"), how deliverable ownership works for clients, and how we expect our own IP and our clients' IP to be respected.

Scope

Applies to the Fanaar website, brand assets, and published frameworks, and provides a plain-English summary of the IP terms that govern client engagements. Where you are a client under a signed Master Services Agreement, Article 17 of that Agreement is the controlling document for deliverable ownership; this policy summarises, but does not replace, those terms.

Policy Statement

Fanaar's brand & Site content

The Fanaar name, logo, visual identity, and all original content on our website are owned by Fanaar and protected under Pakistani and applicable international intellectual property law. They may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our prior written consent.

Fanaar Background IP

Fanaar retains ownership of its pre-existing methodologies, frameworks, templates, playbooks, dashboards, tools, know-how, and proprietary processes used to deliver Services ("Fanaar Background IP"). This includes our commercial growth frameworks, reporting templates, and internal systems. Fanaar Background IP is not transferred to a client through the course of an engagement unless expressly agreed and documented in writing.

Client Deliverables

Subject to full payment and the specific terms of your Master Services Agreement, final Deliverables created specifically for your engagement (for example, a finished brand identity, campaign asset, or strategy document) are generally assigned or licensed to you as set out in Article 17 of the MSA. Working files and source files, however, remain Fanaar's property unless the Parties expressly agree otherwise in writing and record any associated fee in Schedule B.

Third-party & licensed materials

Deliverables may incorporate third-party licensed material — such as stock imagery, fonts, plugins, or components generated with AI tools (see our AI Usage & Disclosure Policy) — which remain subject to the relevant third party's licence terms. It is the client's responsibility to maintain any licence required for continued use of such material after the engagement ends.

Reporting concerns

If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed by content on our Site, or believe Fanaar IP is being used without authorisation, contact us using the details below.

Your Responsibilities

  • Do not reproduce, republish, or commercially reuse Site content or Fanaar Background IP without written permission.
  • Maintain any third-party licences required for continued use of licensed material incorporated into your Deliverables.

Fanaar's Responsibilities

  • Honour written IP assignment agreements exactly as documented.
  • Respond promptly and in good faith to legitimate IP concerns raised by clients or third parties.
