Confidentiality Policy

Trust starts at the first discovery call, not the day a contract is signed.

Purpose

Commercial growth work means Fanaar is regularly given access to sensitive business information — revenue figures, strategy, customer data, and unreleased plans. This policy explains how we protect that information, including during early conversations before any contract is in place.

Scope

Applies to prospective clients, current clients, and referral partners who share business information with Fanaar, whether during a discovery call, a proposal process, or an active engagement. Once a Master Services Agreement is signed, Article 18 of that Agreement governs confidentiality in full for that relationship; this policy describes our approach more broadly, including before a contract exists.

Policy Statement

What we treat as confidential

"Confidential Information" includes, without limitation, a client's or prospect's financial records, business plans, revenue and profit information, commercial KPIs, sales data, market research, strategies, client lists, and pricing models, together with Fanaar's own proprietary frameworks, methodologies, and internal systems.

Protection before a contract is signed

Fanaar treats information shared during a discovery call or proposal process as confidential in good faith, even before a Non-Disclosure Agreement or Master Services Agreement is signed. For particularly sensitive early-stage discussions, we are also happy to sign a standalone Non-Disclosure Agreement on request.

Internal safeguards

Every member of the Fanaar team is bound by internal confidentiality obligations as a condition of their engagement with us, and access to client information is limited to those who need it to deliver the relevant Service.

Duration

Our confidentiality obligations continue for so long as the information remains genuinely confidential, and in respect of trade secrets, without limit of time. Once a Master Services Agreement is signed, the specific duration terms in Article 18 of that Agreement apply.

Exceptions

Confidentiality obligations do not extend to information that is or becomes publicly available through no fault of Fanaar, or that we are required by law or a valid legal process to disclose.

Client Responsibilities

  • Once engaged, keep Fanaar's proprietary frameworks, pricing, and methodologies confidential, consistent with your Master Services Agreement.
  • Clearly flag any information you consider especially sensitive when sharing it with us.

Fanaar's Responsibilities

  • Treat prospective and current client information as confidential, in good faith, from first contact onward.
  • Limit internal access to confidential information to those who genuinely need it.
  • Sign a standalone Non-Disclosure Agreement on reasonable request before sensitive early discussions.
