AI Usage & Disclosure Policy

Purpose

Fanaar uses artificial intelligence tools to work faster and smarter across research, content drafting, and workflow automation — but our commitment to "craft," one of our core values, means AI assists our team; it does not replace their judgment. This policy discloses how we use AI and what control clients have over it.

Scope

Applies to Fanaar's use of AI tools in delivering Services and in producing website and marketing content. It does not govern a client's own independent use of AI within their business.

Policy Statement

How we use AI

Our team may use AI tools to accelerate research, generate first drafts, support ideation, and automate repetitive workflow steps across the commercial growth engagements we deliver.

Human oversight, always

Every AI-assisted output is reviewed, fact-checked, and refined by a Fanaar strategist or consultant before it is presented internally as final work or delivered to a client. AI-generated content is a starting point in our process, never the finished deliverable.

Confidentiality safeguards

Client Confidential Information is never entered into a public or non-enterprise AI tool that could retain or expose it to third parties. Where AI tools are used on client-related work, we use only Company-approved, enterprise-grade tools with appropriate data protection terms, consistent with our internal Confidentiality and Data Protection policies.

Your control

If your brand or industry has specific requirements around AI use — for example, a preference to exclude AI-generated imagery, or a requirement to disclose AI involvement to your own customers — let us know at onboarding, and we will agree the appropriate approach in your Statement of Work.

Intellectual property

Ownership of AI-assisted work product created in the course of your engagement follows the same terms as any other Deliverable under your Master Services Agreement, as described in our Intellectual Property Policy.

No guarantee via AI

AI tools are never used to fabricate data, misrepresent results, or imply a guaranteed outcome. This is consistent with Article 21 of our Master Services Agreement — Fanaar does not guarantee specific commercial results, whether the underlying work involved AI or not.

Client Responsibilities

• Communicate any AI usage preferences or restrictions specific to your brand or industry at onboarding.

Fanaar's Responsibilities

• Maintain human review of all AI-assisted output before client delivery.
• Use only Company-approved, secure AI tools for any work involving client information.
• Update this policy as AI regulation and best practice in Pakistan evolves.
